Foliage - You Will Never Be The Same

In the year 2000...

...five accomplished artists got to together to celebrate the new Millennium by bringing the world the kind of music it has been waiting for much too long and founded the band "Foliage". They were joined by a background choir that consists of members of Della Reese's critically acclaimed UP-choir.

Initial start for the band project was the creation of a 4-Song demo CD for the motion picture "House on Haunted Hill" with the title song Dark Blessing. Andreas recorded the songs and got Rich Gavalis to edit, mix and master the songs. Rich is the editor/mixer/co-producer for the Bloodhound Gang, who has the current hits "Bad Touch"(the gold single), "Horray for Boobies"(the gold album), "Along Comes Mary"(another gold single), and "One Fierce Beer Coaster"(their last gold album) in Germany and around the world.

This project found interest in the motion picture industry and encouraged Andreas to team up with live and studio musicians as well as vocalists from Los Angeles. The Band Foliage was born with the vocalists Kerry Husband and Alexander Hast, who also plays rhythm guitar, Bassplayer Carl Maultsby, Lead guitarist Kenny Kasman and Andreas himself on drums. Ollie Rasbury joined the Band as arranger and vocalist for the Background choir.

The first project the newly formed Band took on was the Re-production of the four CD tracks with new vocals and added Background vocals. The result is the "First Kiss" Demo CD with the Songs: Never Be The Same, First Kiss, Dark Blessing and Walking Over The Rainbow.
